Fear and love

To be brave,

I had to be afraid.

To understand the light,

I lived in the shadows.

To come to find love,

I first came to pain.

To make it home,

lost I had to find.

To face this life with you,

I had to know myself.

In a world so far apart,

we came together.

I found my fear in love,

you found my heart in you.
