Catching butterflies

Kiss the life into me she says,

tears falling only in the pain letting go.

In each whisper uttered her eyes find,

what she never wanted to know.

Watching her move to the edge I see,

the trust in her heart for love to survive.

She jumps to certain doom as fate intervenes,

catching her heart to love and to hold.

Caught by the wings of hope she floats away,

beyond the dreams of what she never wanted.

Her lips moving to the song of love she knows,

planted in her soul this man holds on.

Eyes of magnificent colors beaming upon him,

touching souls with fingers of love’s disguise.

No pain in his arms she is carried away,

finding forever in the never she dreamt before.

Seeping into her veins his touch making love,

letting fear subside as her forever starts with him.
