Least resistance

In your eyes I was lost for so long,

playing in silent motionless light.

Forever bound in tomorrow’s chains,

loosing apathy cringing desire.

Holding hearts in the hands never frail,

weakness failing to understand our way.

Under moonlight singing hearts of hope,

as our worlds apart come close together.

If I hold out my heart will you embrace the pain?

When I cry in your tears will you shelter me again?

In my love I have only this left to give,

ready for life and love to begin.

I wait by the door locked ready to open,

walls in hearts falling down in our dreams.

Light of darkness colder flames drowning,

sinking deeper into your arms where I rest.

I know nothing if you are my nothing.

I am everything if everything is you.

We are only the lonely in loneliness,

in love we are the way, we are the love.
