Loving path through life

I try to cry out the only name left,

in a dream I have fallen away into you.

Walking on the shores of life my way,

singing butterflies dancing ghosts.

Autumn falls as I open my eyes,

seeing colors imagined by reality.

Tears of rain flowing endlessly,

crying storm of a past I remember.

No shame left to feel in your touch,

hiding my heart for the moment you embrace it.

Veiled by fallen eyes forgotten in your hands,

my way made clear as you light the path.

No hiding left to endure alone we stand as one,

under the wings of angels your devil falls.

Sorrowful essence painted in spring’s realm of life,

flowers of endless capacity fade into your soul.

I waited for my life to burn away in your summer,

suns fading to the moon crying my tears tonight.

Winter calls leaving the coldest touch so warm,

taking me to your heart where only love exists.

Tested by the elements of tomorrow today we stand,

as one light in a dream I have yet to see.

No amount of torture to break this pain inside,

in your eyes my reign falls apart just to hold you.

In love this light takes me down to your arms,

in all seasons we find only this love broken to come together.
