Simply wishing

Waiting as time slowly passes us by,

hearing the essence reminding me of waterfalls.

Whispering to you in secret spades digging in,

realizing who I am for you as your eyes close.

Fate holding a heart so beautiful,

in your smile I see how far you have come.

In the emptiness painting this night I know,

how deep your love has come to express.

No words left to say in what you have in me,

as my river comes to the only end left to find.

I love you more than the time that never ends,

or how deep the ocean holds her waves.

Higher than the heavens I am yours tonight,

colder than this hell I am in without you.

I am everything that you have asked for,

each wish on the stars holds my name.

Born so long ago to bring you forever,

as light becomes the love you always wanted.

In a simple expression my ways are unclear,

reflecting my mirror in waters we stand.

Breaking apart to feel who we are,

knowing only love within your hands.

Moon shinning bright leaving clouds,

raining tomorrow on forever we dance.

Lasting kiss befalling this eternal flame,

where our love is trust in eyes of pain.
