Heaven denied

I hold my heart in your hands,

eyes bleeding words of sorrow,

testing flames to bequeath you,

my soul in all love combined.

Holding your light behind my eyes,

seeing what only blindness reveals,

touching heaven inside,

with every moment shared.

You look into me without remorse,

fading shame broken in time,
