Letting go to hold on

In a word of silence nothing can be heard,

as the lights go out what can I see?

There is something in my heart for you to know,

this love I have for you is perfection in my soul.

Taken from the wine to make this jaded sense,

unlike before, unlike any other love.

So much found inside of me meant just for you,

each breath I take every heartbeat is yours.

the flowers I feel are what is growing in your eyes.

Nothing held so close can ever be let go,

I plead to the gods of destiny to change,

I let go of how I loved you before my heart was clear,
