In us a light

In each tear I feel I understand its way,

in reaching into life fading apart,

where life is more than a heartbeat.

I see your smile captivating my soul,

in rain clouds so beautiful,

where we live in love as one.

In your eyes there is more than perfection,

hiding behind the sheets of indifference,

where we as one find ways to enjoy the pain.

In my arms your body will know my passion,

bled out over your warmth my desire,

where needs are spoken by wants.

I feel your lips with each kiss you taste on me,

flowing inside of waters made in your feelings,

where I wait for nothing by expecting the same.

In this light our shadows dance beside of our hearts,

blessed in perfection, touched by heaven’s fears,

where we know only how little we know at all.

In my eyes I see you for who you hide inside,

gorgeous smile implanted by ecstasy,
