I know nothing of god or her angels,
no devil to embrace my painful sins.
I feel nothing but the blood on my hands,
ripped from the lives of so many.
I silence myself in this death,
tasting myself on my fingertips.
Brokenness has no room for me,
life just another game to play as I die.
I fear only the reason for no purpose,
emptiness has never been inside.
Brought to an understanding my agony,
to make love suffer by my hands.
Singing a lyric full of despair,
dancing together with death.
No angels here to protect me,
an end that has always been by choice.
Waking up the demons buried,
eyes open to undo what’s been done.
Crying on the wings of flights falling fast,
my heart cries only because I now know love.
