I feel as you feel

When I see a tear forming in your eyes,

I cry for what you cannot say.

As the pain becomes too much to bear,

I feel the cringing darkness within.

When you smile inside I know,

I feel you in my laughter.

With all the dreams you see,

it is my heart that lets you know.

Love in your soul makes me warm,

as the darkness takes, I hide as well.

In your smile I feel the sunshine,

within your sadness my body falls.

I stand with you in all ways,

to know exactly as you feel.

When all things become beautiful,

I feel the light within your heart.

As anxious as you become,

There is only so much you can feel,

without feeling out of touch.
