In a heart without eyes to see

Who I am is over,
who I was a memory.
Forgotten in the light,
remembered in darkness.
Sun shining brightly the Moon,
a picture my eyes cannot see.
O'er desire contemplation,
fading away in colors so true.
My soul broken by fate,
death looking me in the face.
Eyes covered with pain,
broken I fall in your shame.
Life much more than my heart.
Heart? I guess that is mine.
Mine vacantly becoming yours.
Yours is now mine to submit.
Submit my touch so cold.
Cold in the middle of summer.
Summer now ending in dreams.
Dreams as I close my dying eyes.
Who you are is beginning,
who you are is a new memory.
Remembered in the light,
forgotten in darkness.
Moon so pale under the Sun,
your eyes paint the picture I see.
Under contemplating desire,
colors blending in this light.
Your soul held together by destiny,
life looking past what eyes can see.
Pain forsaken by blind eyes,
in your touch, whisper, the tears you have cried.
