Kiss my fall away

Such beauty in the autumn colors so deep,

red orange and yellow dreams of passion,

burning clean in my eyes coming to feel,

the depth of winter kissing fall away.

Waking in the storm of my life,

reminded by the fears I once knew,

hiding under clouds of shame,

making my way back home.

Flakes of bright white haunt my sleep,

softly spoken words of tomorrows blue,

trying so hard to see deep within,

leaving my fall in the past.

Cold chills sending forth desire,

painful ice reminding me of hope,

taken from everything beautiful,

in all that I see I know I am home.

Kiss away my fall from my eyes,

look into my heart to feel what I see,

making truth fall as Fall steps down,

for a moment of peace where white covers me.

Kissed too soon to say goodbye,

held on forever without knowing,

facing new reasons to hide again,

my Fall my Fall come kiss me goodbye.
