She couldn’t take the screams only she could hear,
never able to fit in where crowds appeared to fade.
In her room she sits alone with a needle in her hand,
ready beyond willing she pushes the hammer home.
Nodding head flailing towards her doom,
unaware of the poisonous blade streaking fate.
Blood pours from her eyes cried for who she lost,
his name tattooed on her heart she screams.
As her eyes roll into her mind her dreams see the moment,
tormented by the guilt of losing sight of love.
She only tortures each breath forced she gasps,
crying so deep in her rivers of blood.
Broken wings giving up her descent heeds her hand,
slicing away the painful tears she was never able to cry.
I see her fading back into the realm of dying youth,
love forgotten in her heart, no reason she can find to live.
