A memory in love's heart so cold

I woke to silence so cold,
in my heart where love rests her head.
Memories pouring in,
finding no solace at all.
I cry for her absence,
alone has never felt so alone.
Loneliness killing my heart,
tears drenching my body.
You are gone now I know,
your voice not here.
The softest touch so cold,
now a fading memory.
I close my eyes once again,
knowing I will see you tonight.
Heartache covers my eyes,
blood rushes from my grave.
I am falling harder inside,
just to remember your name.
I must try to hold on,
I must remember your name.
