Within your voice

With a heart so weak I fall to the earth,
breaking promises of a painless love.
Holding onto sorrow as I drift from view,
seeing only how in love I have messed up.
A song of life breathing into my soul new hopes,
finding a life inside of death I break before you.
Your voice calms my heart and the fears fade away,
knowing nothing but this instant of love in your touch.
I fall before you on my knees in love so pure,
my soul in your own, my heart in your hands.
I kiss your feet as I look up to your eyes and see,
a love you have inside, a love you give to me.
I knew nothing of what love could always be,
yet when with you I know only what my heat can see.
You told me to always follow my heart,
so to your voice I found the reason to come home.
Holding tears back just to focus on your eyes,
scared of a tomorrow without you in my arms.
I am hurting with all that is left alone inside of me,
loving you beyond my dreams of shadows devoured.
Sitting in these shadows of life realizing only your words,
