Wall of hearts

Simply complex eyes speaking rain,

kissed by the butterfly of life denied.

Fading into clarity my fall becomes,

endlessly seeking aimlessly alone.

Disbelief veiled by eyes blinding heart,

revealed to know what light can be.

Words silently dancing images life,

making reality the curse of my dreams.

Waking up to shallow existence bleak my way,

running faster to slow down my illusions.

You asked for eternity to stand with me,

petals never falling as I am silenced.

Unaware of dying we find how to live,

trees purging memories on the leaves.

Walls giving up each brick saying goodbye,

here is my forever burnt into your eyes.

No amount of playing alive we are,

nothing darkly beautiful as this inside,

reaching the lonely behind crowds of fate.

I see into your heart my dreams coming clear,

hidden man waiting behind open doors.

Scars speaking that which I could never say,

I love you in this light so dark my soul.

Never again too late coming together,

a path set on fire within my reach I take.

In what love has portrayed you show me,

brick by brick we stand as all walls fall down.
