My heart beats to the sound of despair,
full of shame I feel as I taste her,
memories that lead me to warmth.
Breasts full in my passionate eyes,
a smile for me as she gives up,
a life meant for this moment.
In her look I know she wants this,
scarred soul breaking what is left,
to take away her pain with my kiss.
Hair drenched by the rain she cries,
letting go of what was once beautiful,
waking up in death to embrace the dawn.
She holds me closer than any time I remember,
speaks with eyes finding peace in her decision,
no fear left for her to know in my arms.
Frozen skin touched warming my being,
lips begging for more than this,
lights cease in her heart now mine.
I taste her tears of red bursting my desire,
crept into what I now find in love,
as lust falls in this life we have ended.
As I rise to greet the newness within,
moon cries boldly beautiful her smile,
who I am is for who we are.
