Shadow's reflecting light

A darker shade of light becoming the need inside,

hopelessly lost within the refracting prism.

Looks denied behind breaking my reflection,

shadows calling truth as lies become my fate.

Cut deeper in my heart her soul mirrors my moves,

dancing in the distance my home created in shadows.

Dreams fall to nightmares anguish seeking light,

bound in darkness under new ways to explain.

Forever faces fears forsaking this meaningless fall,

testing temptations trust as our worlds collide.

Heaven to my Hell so beautiful eyes now cry,

heeding what is surely coming to be undone.

My heart has become the very essence in her shadow,

as the darkness in my soul holds her heart beyond time.

Fading out to burn away our reflections speak the same,

song twisted with all kisses poison leading to new found light.

I bleed myself away into who she needs me to reflect,

black my heart to the very depths of love her eyes shine.
