Irony of love

I have been to the depths of hell just to find you,

the crawling pain eminent, desperation impending.

Fate had her way with my destiny to know you,

fear of irony mistakenly futile in my eyes.

I know the lowliest feelings becoming me,

to feel your touch, to know your body.

Seeing all lights fading away to make you shine,

my life meaningless without you, heart already dead.

Your eyes piercing my soul showing me true desire,

insatiable thirst only your lips can quench.

Kissed by heavenly wings of fallen angels you are,

carrying my life to the deepest flames in hell.

Making me know all things possibly impossible,

falling up, fading in, dying love.

Your touch melts me into ice so hot it hurts,

broken together pieces of this puzzle we are.

As one in two we make love under rivers of feathers,

flying away, drifting together, holding forever.

Seeing you making me weaker each heartbeat stolen,

twisting into love, friendship eminently forsaken.

To know you is to know the meaning of love inside,

how all things are true, all things are lies.

Making all that we are perfectly fallible,

knowing the pleasure, expecting the pain.

Burning in your waters to drown in your love,

I know completion only in your arms.

I feel only truth in your lies,

I find all dreams beautiful because you exist.

My breath is lost in your touch so erotic,

feeling love in the eyes of irony’s light.
