Since breath first made the death in me I was whole,
so dark in the vastness of emptiness together.
A vampire taking energy before blood,
sucking the very life into me just to die.
Heaves gates closed me out in my idealistic fantasy,
where hell becomes the only wish I seek.
Fallen just to know understanding of life misunderstood,
forsaken by the very image of the love falsely spoken.
Alone in the depths of life I sing out in writhing anguish,
separated to know this very meaning of torture.
In the lightest darkness I found new love,
arms so cold the warmth was beautiful.
Hearts mixing inside of shadows calling out pain,
uprooted in the form of life forced upon me.
Roses growing into my eyes crying hope’s pleasure,
letting love permeate through my very being.
So cold, so hot, fiery ice taking me in,
where my darkness is dark in her light.
She is the darkness in my eyes,
I am the light singing songs of desire.
Seeing only now the only chance left,
Darklight, alone, together, in a song where love exists.
