Image painting emotion

From a distance seen in the tears she cries,

under her veil of trust she hopes.

Painted light on her face of love,

where only she knows the answers.

Watching her move past enlightenment,

walking on the edge of destiny waning.

Time stops in her heart holding his hand,

a rush of emotion in this passing.

In her heart rests his beauty,

where all is known by her soul.

I see the look of love in her eyes,

no way to hide the depth she knows.

Why does she cry in his pain,

why can she not let him go?

Whining eyes crying without release of passion.

Starving hands holding provisions in untwining twists.

Finding feelings fading faster forever fearing forgiveness.

Who am I to question the ways of nature and life?

Knowing knowledge keeping kneeling knees knocking.

Twisted twilight trimming trees treacherous teachings.

Whatever I may find I shall pass on in my death.

Forsaken hands plead for deeper pain to fade,

fallen angels seeking comfort within love and light.

Sorrow filling eyes of death tempted without cause,

keeping the questions guessing for answers so wrong.

Is this all just a dream within a life destined for the grave,

or is there truly purpose beyond what life can give?

I question only the tears cried from lonely eyes,

where she kneels before her lover fading from life.

She looks my way,

I smile but dare not say hello.

A wink a smile a feeling past emotion,

where she waits for her time to follow.

No answers to questions never asked,

nothing but hope for a way back into his arms.

In all that comes I see finds a way to leave,

candles lit, hearts on fire, eyes crying for release.
