Sitting with you

Like a rainy day you wet my waters,

pouring out on me the very need I desire.

I think of how much your heart means to me,

unable to bear the shame of ever being apart.

I have held you so close to feel you breathe,

every time you speak, my pulse quickens.

I see the light your eyes give away so freely,

understood I question nothing but time.

The simple touch of simplicity taken,

killing my lips with your kiss so intoxicating.

I don’t want to imagine a life without you,

for you are my heart whispering souls.

I sit here in your presence dreaming,

of your smile, your touch, your eyes peering into me.

As you sit before me I capture your smile,

secretly holding it in my heart broken glass.

Tease me with all of the lust proving true,

in your arms I now see the reason I live.

My love, I hold you next to the moon in my sky,

so beautiful in all perfections beyond my eyes.

A hint of forever blended into our eternity,

tried to be held, so deep and so true.
