When one tries too hard to express his soul,
much can be taken lightly away as they fade.
Dancing highlights in broken shadows to please,
mistaken grief falling emptiness one’s heart.
Dying to be all of the pain beyond pleasure,
facing reality in a dream left behind.
Slicing the veins in the tears yet to shed,
reigning rain pouring within.
Indefinitely worn out in all thoughts revealed,
doomed by hope in a quarrel meant for stone.
Heartless eyes weeping sorrow without today,
tomorrow destined for light leaving home.
To feel the anguish set on by fictitious games,
hard to handle what one cannot touch.
Faint sounds of heartbeats breaking silent souls,
twisting away in this fantasy of life.
She somehow waits for him there by his tomb,
reminded by light how beautiful shadows can be.
Never a hint of what whispers lie,
hearing only the sounds of her heart.
Unable to bend she breaks with his life,
knowing only the grief spilt out from their love.
She waits to sleep in this time without his presence,
to live and die according to their love.
